There are a few rules with respect to e-mail:
- On working days your e-mail will be answered within 48 hours via e-mail. If that is not feasible, you will get a confirmation of receipt stating a date when you can expect an answer
- Unfortunately we cannot guarantee your privacy, because the Internet is a public network. Keep this in mind when you ask a question. If we believe the answer to contain privacy-sensitive information, we will send it by regular mail
- DUO will remove any virus-infected e-mail from its mailbox without further ado. Senders will receive neither a response nor a warning that their e-mail is infected. DUO follows this procedure because providers may otherwise consider DUO as sender of spam.
- E-mail DUO sends is intended exclusively for the adressee. DUO only sends confidential information in an e-mail if the adressee has given permission to do so. If you received an e-mail from DUO and you are not the adressee, please throw it away and inform us. You are not entitled to take note of the message and should not copy it or send it to any other than the adressee.
- DUO aims to send confidential e-mails as safely as possible. However, the sending takes place partly unprotected, due to the nature of the public network. DUO does not vouch for any possible damage resulting from the incorrect, incomplete or untimely sending or reception of e-mail.
- DUO cannot be held responsible for the consequences of possible virusses that become attached to e-mail in the public network.
