Professional recognition as a teacher
When you want to teach in a foreign country, DUO can provide you with a statement about your qualification as a teacher in the Netherlands.
Application
You can submit your application by printing and filling out the applicationform.Statement
A statement made out in your name is issued in case you provide us with a certified copy of your diploma. A certified copy is not necessary for those who simultaneously send in their original diploma for legalization (see "Legalizing").The statement contains information (if relevant) on the following issues:
- the educational sector(s) and subject(s) for which you are qualified
- the recognized status of your diploma in the Netherlands
- the course-duration
- the term of validity of the qualification
- the right to use a Dutch title
- the validity of the course within the framework of the EC-directive
